Ollie is an adorable 8-month-old Dachshund playful little puppy with a happy-go-lucky personality. He just loves his toys, especially the stuffed ones as he has a special talent for turning a perfectly good stuffed toy into a fluffy mess in record time!

Ollie and his brother, Rango, (also up for adoption!) were surrendered to rescue when their family realized that adding two puppies to their household was simply too much. Now this handsome little guy is ready for a fresh start with a family of his very own!

Ollie is a sweet, social boy who loves everyone. He loves romping around with his canine foster siblings, ignores the resident cats, and previously lived with three young children under four years old.

Like any young Dachshund, Ollie is an energetic, fun-loving little character who loves to play! He's perfectly crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and lets his foster family know when he needs to go outside in the morning.
He's still working on house training during the day and hasn't yet learned to walk on a leash, so his new family will need patience and a commitment to helping him learn.

Ollie would thrive in an active, loving home, preferably with someone familiar with the Dachshund breed and all its wonderful quirks! With consistent training, plenty of playtime, and lots of love, this precious boy is sure to become a wonderful companion.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.

Adoption fees cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary. The adoption fee is set at a level that enables adoption; they do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
