Meet Dash, an adorable Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix!

This handsome boy needs to find himself a new home after his family's circumstances changed. They love him but feel they can not give him the attention he deserves.

Dash is a friendly, affectionate dog and may be the perfect match for you. He is crate trained (uses it when foster family is out); loves to sleep with his people.

Dash is calm with kids and other dogs, walks well on the leash but can be a little stubborn guy at times. He loves walks and has medium energy. He only barks when he wants your attention or you leave the house.

Dash is still not perfect his house training so he needs to taken out regularly during the day. Dash also needs some work on his car skills as he is a little anxious - he would be best to be trained to be in the crate for car trips.

Dash really loves to hang around "his people" and the best fit for him would be someone who was home during the day.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
