Meet Millie Moo, a precious puppy and very sweet girl who is now learning that the world can be a safe and loving place.
She had a rough start to life when she was dumped in TN, but she hasn’t let that stop her from hoping for a family of her own.

Millie can be shy and nervous at first, especially around new people and unfamiliar surroundings.
She needs a patient, loving family who will give her the time and encouragement she needs to come out of her shell and build her confidence.
With gentle guidance, and lots of love, her personality will begin to shine and she will become a happy, playful, affectionate companion.

Now settling into a foster home, Millie is busy learning all the important puppy basics. Her house training is a work in progress, and she is learning to walk nicely on a leash. She may whine a little when crated, but she is still young and getting accustomed to her routine. Millie is also a good little traveler and does well riding in the car.

Millie will thrive in a home where her family understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her grow at her own pace. She didn’t get the best beginning, but she deserves the best future.

Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.
Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. All vaccinations required after adoption are the adopter's responsibility.
Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)
Housetrained:  Not yet
Microchipped: Yes

Puppy Adoption Fee:  $600.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)
                                   $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee applies to Massachusetts residents.

Adoption Fee Includes:
~Preadoption vaccinations, complete examinations, and microchipping.
~Spay/neuter surgery rebate, paid to the adopter once proof of surgery is provided to Paws New England. We are happy to provide a list of low-cost spay/neuter clinics upon request.

ATTENTION: 
Puppies are wonderful—but they are also a big commitment. Before applying, please make sure you're ready for the time, patience, and training they require.

>Puppies should not be crated for more than 3–4 hours at a time.
>Your home will need to be puppy-proofed.
>Expect chewing, nipping, scratching, accidents, and lots of supervision while they learn.
>If you have young children, be sure they're prepared for normal puppy behavior.
>Training, socialization, exercise, and consistency are essential.  

Unless you're an experienced dog owner and your Adoption Coordinator is comfortable with your experience, you will be required to attend puppy training and/or behavior classes. Our goal is to help you and your puppy build a happy, successful, lifelong relationship.

Important Information

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs are cared for in foster homes throughout the South and New England.

Your adoption donation helps cover veterinary care, transportation, and other expenses for your adopted dog. It also helps us continue to save senior dogs and dogs with serious medical needs or injuries. While their adoption donations are often reduced, their veterinary costs are typically much higher.
