Meet Sprocket! 🐾✨ Look at those satellite dish ears and that 100-watt smile. At around 1 year old and a perfectly pocket-sized 25lbs Sprocket is as bright, zippy, and joyful as his name suggests.

Rescued from a shelter, he is now in a safe and secure foster home.

His absolute favorite thing in the world? Making friends with all!!! He adores everyone he meets, from young children to seniors, greeting each with a happy tail wag.

He loves playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine sibling to romp around with (though with enough love, attention, and play, another dog in the home isn’t an absolute deal-breaker!).

Sprocket is also exceptionally polite with feline housemates, making him a fantastic fit for a multi-pet household.

As a young dog learning the ropes of being a cherished indoor pet, he’s making great progress every day on his house manners; working hard and learning the routine!

He is settling in beautifully and has come to see his crate as his safe haven. Whenever a loud or unfamiliar noise startles him, he'll quietly retreat there until he feels secure.

He's also discovering that leash walks can lead to fun outdoor adventures and is becoming more confident with each outing.

Same with car rides, still a bit nervous, but does not experience any car sickness.

With a heart as big as his grin (and ears to match!), Sprocket is ready to find a forever family to share all his love and tail wags with. Apply for him today!

Adoption fees cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary. The adoption fee is set at a level that enables adoption; they do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
