Meet Handsome Rex, a truly wonderful boy whose future is looking much brighter than his past. Rex is an incredibly social, happy-go-lucky dog who genuinely enjoys everyone he meets. Whether he's making new human friends or spending time with his canine companions, his easygoing personality shines through. He absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine buddy to romp around with and keep him company.
His foster family quickly discovered that Rex came with excellent manners already in place. He is wonderfully behaved in his crate, keeping it clean without accidents and never trying to escape. He also knows several commands, including "Load Up," and happily hops right into the car or SUV, making him an excellent companion for adventures near and far.
With a medium energy level, Rex enjoys playtime but also appreciates relaxing with his people after the fun is over. He's the kind of dog who fits easily into family life and simply wants to be included.
Rex has already proven what an amazing companion he can be. Now all he needs is a loving forever home—preferably one with a four-legged best friend—where he can share his loyal heart, playful spirit, and all the love he has to give.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
