Meet Monday, a darling little Yorkie with a gentle soul who’s ready to find the loving forever home she deserves. This sweet girl was found wandering the streets all alone, and sadly no one ever came forward to claim her. Despite that rough start, once she feels safe and trusts you, she becomes incredibly loving and affectionate.

Monday is happiest curled up beside her person on the couch soaking up attention, and at bedtime she would love nothing more than to snuggle in bed with you. She also enjoys relaxing in her cozy little dog bed when she wants her own quiet space. She’s a calm, easy companion who rarely barks and has a wonderfully peaceful nature around the home.

She gets along well with other dogs and would likely do best in a quieter home with older children. Monday can occasionally get a little nervous when being picked up and may get a bit nippy if startled, so she’ll need a family who understands that trust takes time and gentle handling.

Her ideal household would be kind, patient, loving and will make her feel safe and cherished for the rest of her life.
In return, you’ll gain a loyal little companion who simply wants to be close to her person and finally know what it feels like to be home.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
