Rocco came to PAWS from a local Massachusetts shelter after being found as a stray. When no one came forward for him, he got a fresh start as a beloved member of the PAWS family.
Now settled into a local foster home, Rocco is showing everyone exactly who he is: a playful, goofy young pup with a joyful outlook on life.
He’s working hard on his manners and thriving in his training sessions, proving just how responsive and eager to learn he can be.
Rocco walks well on a leash, loves getting out for strolls, and is just as happy curling up on the couch for cuddles and movie time. He’s already crate trained and house trained — a big win for his future family.
He can be timid when first meeting new dogs, but as his confidence grows each day, he’s becoming more comfortable and social.
Because Rocco is still young and a little bouncy, he would do best in a home with a consistent routine and children over 12. Continued training is needed to help him grow into the well-mannered companion he’s well on his way to becoming.
Whether he’s chasing a ball, showing off his goofy side, or lounging beside you on the couch, Rocco is simply a happy boy ready to find his forever home — one filled with love, structure, and plenty of playtime.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need
