Gorgeous Ember is an absolute dream and ready to be yours. This Labrador mix has a calm, steady presence that makes life feel a little softer.

Discovered as a stray wandering the streets, she was found to have matching scars on her back legs we speculate was from being entangled in a rope or tie out. Ember does have a distinctive walk, perhaps the result of an old injury from her past.

This pretty girl is housetrained, beautifully behaved, walks well on leash, and has a wonderfully quiet nature, she rarely barks and is content just being near her people. Ember adores people and is happiest wherever you are.
She’s perfectly suited for neighborhood walks, cozy sofa snuggles, or tagging along for a coffee shop or brewery visit.

So secure and confident, she's happy to relax at home when you’re out, with no separation anxiety and zero interest in getting into trouble.
A yard is not a requirement for Ember as long as she gets her routine walks and light daily exercise. Her chill, low-noise personality makes her an excellent candidate for apartment or condo living, where her easy going nature truly shines.

When it comes to other dogs, Ember prefers simplicity. She would do well with one calm, mellow dog who respects her space, or she’d be just as happy being someone’s one-and-only devoted companion. Pushy or high-energy canine interactions aren’t her style.
Ember would be best with older children who understand gentle interactions and canine boundaries. She thrives in a calm, respectful environment.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
