Ryker’s life on the streets of Memphis is officially behind him, and this adorable Puggle is more than ready for his forever home! After running with his canine buddies for who knows how long, he finally decided rescue life wasn’t so bad — and he’s been thriving in his foster home ever since.
What we know so far:
His foster mom says he’s the best dog she’s ever had come from the streets — pretty amazing praise!
Gets along beautifully with her other dogs
Loves people and soaks up affection
Appears to be housetrained (huge bonus!)
Hasn’t shown a single negative trait in his first week of foster care
About Puggles:
Puggles are known for being affectionate, playful, and wonderful family companions. They typically do well with children and other pets, but like all dogs, they thrive with consistent positive reinforcement training and regular exercise. They can sometimes inherit a “chatty” side from their Beagle lineage, so adopters should be prepared for the possibility of a vocal pup. And don’t forget those adorable puggy skin folds — they’ll need occasional cleaning to keep him healthy and comfortable.
Ryker is the total package: handsome, social, housetrained, and full of love. All he’s missing is a family to call his own. Could that be you?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South & New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
