Sky’s story is one of resilience and new beginnings. Found as a stray in poor health, she required life-saving surgery and some much-needed TLC. With the care of her foster family, Sky gained back her strength, her sparkle—and a few healthy pounds! Now, this affectionate, goofy girl is thriving and ready to find her forever home.
Sky has a medium energy level and loves to play with other dogs. Wrestling, running, and then curling up for a nap is her idea of a perfect day. She’s friendly with every dog she’s met and would be happiest in a home with another playful pup.
She’s fully house trained, crate trained, and rides beautifully in the car—sometimes she even claims the passenger seat like a pro co-pilot! On leash, Sky walks well, though she can pull a little when she gets excited (she’s working on her manners).
Sky is a true people dog. She loves to be close to her humans and would thrive in a home where she can be included in daily activities, walks, and adventures. Her ideal family will enjoy her affectionate nature and be ready for a loyal companion who wants to be part of the action.
If you’re looking for a sweet, social, and playful pup who’s overcome her rough start and is ready to live life to the fullest, Sky might just be your perfect match.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
