Shadow is a stunning senior lady from Bartlett, TN, who was surrendered alongside her brother, Joe (who’s already living his best life in New England!). Now it’s her turn.

This girl is the perfect blend of German Shepherd, Labrador, and Husky — carrying the best traits of all three. Shadow is polite as can be: she greets people and dogs gently, with no jumping and no drama. She’s wonderful with other dogs, absolutely lovely with children, and truly shines when she’s out and about.

Shadow is an outdoor enthusiast at heart. Apartments are not a good fit for her — she’s happiest with room to roam, sniff, and enjoy the fresh air. A fenced yard would be ideal, or an adopter committed to regular adventures, such as hiking, long walks, and exploring the great outdoors.

She travels beautifully, walks calmly on leash and has the sweetest senior soul — calm, loyal, and so grateful for every bit of love.

Shadow is ready to spend her golden years with a family who will cherish her as much as she’ll cherish them. Ready for a gentle, outdoorsy best friend? She’s your girl..

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter procedures when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
