Meet Rosie Girl — a sweet dog who is finally getting her chance at the good life she always deserved. Age: Adult
Gender: Female
Breeds: Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Crossbreed
When she was first found, she was alone in the tall roadside grass, with skin, ear, and eye infections that clearly showed she hadn’t been cared for in a long time. Neighbors shared that she’d been dumped weeks earlier. Even through the rough days,
Rosie Girl never stopped hoping someone kind would stop for her — and luckily, they did.
With gentle care and medication, Rosie Girl has healed beautifully and rediscovered what it feels like to be loved. She’s had puppies in the past, though none were ever found, and now she’s ready to focus on her own bright future.
Rosie Girl is a friendly, affectionate companion who gets along well with other dogs and has been wonderful with children. She loves being outside, whether sniffing around the yard or joining you for calm, occasional walks. She’s also housetrained and uses a pet door to come and go like a pro.
What Rosie Girl needs now is a home that will return the loyalty and devotion she offers so freely — a family who will show her that her days of being neglected are far behind her. If you’re looking for a loving, grateful dog who will soak up every bit of affection you give, she is so ready to be your new best companion!!

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
