Meet Jigsaw, a sweet, gentle soul wrapped in a puppy's joy. Despite his youth, Jigsaw carries the wisdom and calm of an old soul, making him uniquely mellow for a puppy.

This adorable boy was found as a stray in the south and brought to a local shelter, where one of our rescuers could not resist pulling him out and fostering.

Jigsaw's friendl demeanor and smart nature make him an ideal companion, eager to learn and easy to love. His intelligence shines through as he navigates new challenges with a wagging tail and eager eyes.

He is already doing amazing and making great strides in both house and crate training.

Jigsaw is always up for a fun adventure with his person, but he’s just as content to curl up for some cozy couch snuggles. He’d likely do well in most homes, though he’d be happiest in one that isn’t too hectic.

His mellow spirit is perfect for anyone looking for a loyal friend who brings peace and joy.

Adopting Jigsaw means gaining a faithful companion who will enrich your life with his serene and loving presence.

For MASSACHUSETTS RESIDENTS ONLY - Dogs importing into Massachusetts (regardless of where they are coming from) are subject to quarantine for 48 hours at one of two facilities - Medfield or Westport. You will be responsible for picking your dog/puppy up from the facility on the Monday after arrival in New England.

There is also an additional cost of $125.00 per dog payable to Paws New England - we pay the quarantine facility directly. Paws NE does not benefit from this payment - it is paid for the use of the quarantine facilities only.

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.

PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
