Sweet Speckled Harper
Harper is a sweet, sassy, and oh-so-loving girl with the most unique speckled coat you’ll ever see! At just 21 lbs, she’s the perfect lap-dog size—but don’t be fooled, this girl has plenty of personality packed into her petite frame.

Harper is playful and fun, but also loves nothing more than climbing into your lap for snuggles. She’s the most independent of her sisters, the confident one who never meets a stranger, and she’s often the little source of reassurance that helps calm the others.

She’s also a smart cookie—Harper does great in her crate, never misses a chance to greet you with excitement, and absolutely will not turn down a treat (she might even say it’s her love language).

Sadly, Harper and her littermates were discarded before they ever had a chance at a real home. At first, we thought they were tiny four-month-old pups, but the vet surprised us by aging them closer to nine months old. This meant they weren’t the “anything-goes baby puppies” we expected—so they’ve needed a little more patience, guidance, and reassurance. Harper and her littermates can be timid when meeting new people or dogs, but on one-on-one playdates, their true selves shine through. Harper, especially, shows such a loving curiosity toward other pups.

Now this speckled sweetheart is ready to shine in a forever home of her own!

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
