Heath Boswell
Size: Medium
Age: Young
Gender: Male
Breeds: Australian Shepherd, Catahoula Leopard Dog
Meet Happy Heath—the big man on campus of his litter! He may be the largest of his siblings and definitely has his own unique look, but this boy struts around without a single worry in the world. Heath loves to wrestle and romp with his siblings, but hand him a toy and he’s instantly your new best friend. He’s one of the more confident pups in the group (probably because he knows he’s the heavyweight champ of the litter).Age: Young
Gender: Male
Breeds: Australian Shepherd, Catahoula Leopard Dog
Unknown with Cats
Here’s the funny part—Heath is already nine months old and still only 25 pounds! He may have the title of “biggest sibling,” but don’t let that fool you. He’s still a compact little guy with half of his DNA coming from the smaller side, so we’re not expecting him to grow into a giant.
At night, this sweet guy is a total champ in his kennel. He curls up, rests that adorable face against the side, and snoozes like an angel.
Now, here’s the part that breaks our hearts: Heath and his littermates were thrown away. At first, we thought they were only 4-month-old puppies, but the vet let us know they’re closer to 9 months old. That means they skipped some of that “tiny puppy” phase and have needed extra patience and reassurance. They can be a little timid when meeting new people or dogs, but give them a one-on-one playdate and you’ll see their true colors—Heath especially shines with his sweet, curious nature.
This boy is more than ready to trade in his kennel naps for couch cuddles in his forever home. Could Heath trot his happy little paws into your life?

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
