Meet Bonnie Mae
The best things are worth waiting for—and Bonnie Mae is proof of that.

For two long years, Bonnie Mae has watched the world pass her by from inside a Mississippi shelter. Her siblings were adopted long ago—one of them, Blondie, got her ticket out in November 2024 when a PAWS volunteer stepped in. Blondie became a PAWS pup, and the rest? Pure perfection. Now, it’s finally Bonnie Mae’s turn.

Bonnie Mae is sweet-natured, gentle, and quietly affectionate. She may not be the first to bark or beg for attention, but once she knows you’re her person, she’s all in. She adores belly rubs, soft pets, and soaking up love. And don’t let her calm demeanor fool you—she still has a playful spark and would love a yard to explore or a pup pal to romp with.

Even better? Bonnie Mae will be arriving in New England soon, making it even easier to meet her, fall in love, and give her the fresh start she’s been dreaming of.

This girl has waited so patiently for her chance… and we just know the right home is out there. One that will see her the way we do: as pure magic waiting to unfold.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
