This happy, playful pup is as loving as they come. Holt is super people-friendly and eager to please—he’s the kind of dog who just wants to be your best buddy. He loves being with people, enjoys other dogs, and even gets along with cats (though he still thinks they might be up for a game of chase—something he’s working on!).
Holt seems to have some Yellow Lab in him, and with that comes a little energy and a lot of enthusiasm for playing fetch. He’s got just the right amount of spunk—enough to make life fun, but not so much that it’s overwhelming. He’s crate trained, and about 98% housebroken—just being honest!
While he had a bit of separation anxiety at first, his foster has been working with him, and he’s showing real progress. He loves being near his people and even enjoys watching TV (yes, really—Star Wars is a favorite!).
Holt is very observant and in tune with his surroundings. He’s been around children and would do best with kids over 8-10 years old, simply because he still has some puppy-like excitement and occasionally jumps up. Continued training will go a long way in polishing his manners.
All in all, Holt is a happy, affectionate dog with so much love to give—he’s ready to bring joy and fun into his forever home.
