Buzzy is a sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. She came to the animal hospital with her two siblings and mother just before a severe winter storm, all suffering from scabies and internal parasites. Life on the streets had left them uncertain of people, but Buzzy’s kind and affectionate nature quickly began to shine through.
Though timid at first, Buzzy melts the moment someone shows her kindness. A soft voice or gentle touch will have her immediately flopping onto her back for belly rubs and soaking up every ounce of affection. She is truly a cuddlebug at heart.
Like her siblings, Buzzy has been in a kennel environment since February and will need patience and guidance as she continues to adjust to life in a home. She is still learning the ropes of house training and building confidence outside of a shelter setting.
Buzzy is now healthy, sweet with other dogs, and ready for a loving family that can offer her the calm, caring home she so deserves

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
