Meet Brownie and Her Adorable Pups! 🐾

Another stray mama doing her best to survive on the streets—until luck (and a big-hearted foster) stepped in.

Brownie, a sweet Shepherd/Pit mix, gave birth to her litter while living outside. Thankfully, she and her tiny babies were taken in by a loving foster mom when the pups were just days old. Since then, they’ve been thriving in a safe, warm home filled with love, care, and plenty of puppy snuggles.

The puppies are growing quickly and being well-socialized with their mama, other dogs, and household life. They're healthy, curious, and full of that irresistible puppy energy!

These cuties are classic mixed-breed pups—mom is a stunning Shepherd/Pit mix, and dad(s) are unknown (they rarely stick around). But one thing's for sure: these puppies are adorable and full of potential.

A quick reminder—puppies are a joy, but they’re also a commitment. They need time, patience, and consistency. Expect early mornings, interrupted sleep, crate training, housebreaking, and supervision. But in return, you’ll get endless love, laughs, and the unmatched experience of watching your puppy grow and learn under your guidance.

Ready to start your next adventure with a sweet pup by your side? Brownie’s babies will be looking for forever homes soon—maybe yours is one of them!

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.

PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change that this puppy will bring. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter procedures when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
