Meet Bitsy! This gentle girl is as easygoing as they come. Age: Adult
Gender: Female
Breeds: Terrier, Chihuahua
Bitsy is a calm, low-key pup who simply loves being by your side—your best friend and constant companion.
She has a sleek raven-black coat with dainty white toes and weighs in at a petite 14 pounds—just the right size to scoop up for a ride or a leisurely stroll.
Bitsy was found as a stray in a Memphis, TN neighborhood in February and is now thriving in a loving southern foster home. At around 3 years old, she’s the perfect age—not a mischievous puppy, but still playful and full of life.
She currently lives with multiple other dogs and generally prefers to keep to herself, though she’s perfectly content around smaller canine friends. She’s also cat-friendly, sharing her space with a feline without any fuss.
Bitsy’s favorite pastimes include snoozing in a cozy bed, enjoying her meals (she’s very food motivated!), and engaging in gentle playtime with her humans. Her daily routine is simple: a little potty time, breakfast, brief doggy play, and then back to relaxing—rinse and repeat in the evening.
She’s house-trained, crate-trained, great on a leash, and rides well in the car. Plus, she’s a very quiet girl who won’t bark at every little noise.
If you’re looking for a calm, low-energy dog who’s happiest lounging near her person, Bitsy just might be the perfect fit. She’s ready to bring peace, love, and quiet companionship into your home.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
