Meet Kilo – Your Next Adventure Buddy!

Kilo’s story starts in a truly unexpected place—he was found tied up inside a porta-potty. But his past doesn’t define him. Since being rescued, Kilo has been thriving in foster care, showing just how much love and life he has to give.

This handsome, high-energy pup is full of zest and would love a home where he can stretch those spring-loaded legs—seriously, it’s like he’s part kangaroo! Kilo would excel in agility training, hiking, or even learning to catch a frisbee. If you’re looking for a dog who can keep up with an active lifestyle, he’s your guy.

Kilo gets along great with dogs his own size and loves to play. He’s not a big barker, but he will talk to other dogs in his own silly, friendly way. Because of his energy level, smaller or more timid dogs might find him a bit much.

He’s been introduced to cats and showed curiosity without aggression, so dog-savvy cats may be okay with proper introductions. Kilo has also been around children in public and did well, but due to his bouncy nature, he’d do best in a home with older kids.

Kilo is housetrained to a doggie door, so he’ll need a little help learning how to ask to go out in a new home. He’s still learning his leash manners and has had limited crate time, but he rides well in the car and enjoys short outings around town.

More than anything, Kilo is ready to be part of a loving, active family who will give him the guidance, exercise, and affection he craves.

Are you ready for a loyal companion who’s full of heart and adventure? If so, apply now!
