Meet Mama Josie – Sweet, Social, and So Ready for Her Forever Home!

Josie is a lovable Chihuahua with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Her journey began in a southern shelter, where she was left behind with her two 1 year-old pups (also available for adoption!). Thankfully, our wonderful friends at Tipton Paws and Claws took her in, and she’s been thriving in their care ever since.

Josie is great with other dogs and absolutely adores people. She has a medium energy level, making her a perfect companion for playtime in the yard followed by snuggles on the couch.

She gets out to run and play 4–6 times a day and truly loves it. Josie also walks well on a leash, so she’s ready for neighborhood strolls or park adventures.

She’s a toy lover, a people-pleaser, and has a calm, affectionate nature that makes her easy to fall in love with.

After all she’s been through, Mama Josie deserves a home where she’ll be cherished.
If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will brighten your days, Josie might just be the perfect match.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
