David is an good ole boy who is one of the many dogs from Meadow Rescue in Memphis - their caretaker for many many years passed away leaving approx 65 dogs. Paws New England took in many, mostly the seniors because just love them.

David is in a foster home now and has done great with humans and the other dogs (some of whom he knows of course).

We're looking for a quieter home for him with a fenced yard but most of all he loves to be inside and to be by your side at all times. David loves to be part of a family and is hoping yours might be the one!

We've had his veterinary needs met including vaccines, neuter and all that stuff - he's heartworm negative. As a senior dog, he may need things in the future so need a family/person who understands that.

If you've not ever adopted or had a senior dog, there's nothing quite like it. Please consider giving it a try.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
