Meet BB, aka Buster Brown!

Looking for a fun-loving, energetic companion who’s always up for an adventure? BB (short for Buster Brown) is your guy! This 2-year-old, 65-pound bundle of joy is on the hunt for his forever home.
Found at a common dumping spot in Mississippi, BB was rescued and given a second chance at life. Now, he’s ready to share his boundless energy and love with a new family.

BB is a friendly, athletic dog who thrives on companionship—especially with other dogs! He’s playful, curious, and loves making new friends, but he can sometimes be a bit rambunctious due to his size and excitement. He’s working on his manners (like not jumping up), so older kids who can handle his energy would be ideal for him.

Despite his big, strong build, BB has a soft spot for toys—especially the ones that make snow! He’ll happily entertain himself and others with his collection.
And if you’re a fan of water activities, BB is a true water lover! His blue plastic swimming pool is his happy place, and he can spend hours splashing around and cooling off.

BB is smart, quick to learn, and loves to stay active. Whether it’s playing with other dogs, running around, or going for long walks, he’s always ready to go. While he might pull a little on the leash when excited, he’s generally good on walks and would make a great walking or hiking buddy for an active person or family.

One thing to note—BB is very food-motivated, so be sure to feed him separately from other pets. Once he’s finished his meal, he’s ready to claim everyone else’s too!

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
