At 12 years young, Grace is the kind of soul who reminds you to slow down, breathe in the sunshine, and find joy in the little things—like a good belly rub, a cozy nap, or a lazy stroll around the yard.
She came into rescue after the passing of her beloved owner, and now, she’s looking for someone who can offer her a peaceful environment to rest, decompress and feel safe and loved.
She is thriving in her foster home where she settled in fast and immediately stole their hearts. She loves everyone she meets and wants nothing more to be your new weighted blanket.
Grace is a sun-chasing, car-ride-loving cuddlebug.
Her perfect day includes walking the perimeter of a fenced-in yard, snoozing on a sunny deck, and getting scritches from her favorite humans. Bonus points if you work from home or are around often—Grace is happiest when she can be close to her people.
She’s completely deaf, which means no barking at doorbells or delivery trucks (and she’ll blissfully ignore any chaos the other dogs are stirring up). She’s house-trained, non-destructive, and doesn’t have separation anxiety once she knows you’re coming back.
In fact, she can be trusted to nap peacefully on the couch or bed while you’re out—as long as she’s not closed in a crate (she’s not a fan).
Grace would thrive with a retired person, empty nester, or someone who works part-time or remotely and who can let her out every 3-4 hours.
She’s low energy but still enjoys the occasional play session with her 17-lb dog foster sibling and could happily coexist with another calm, respectful pup.
She does not like to share her food and needs to be fed separately but that’s easy peasy.
If you’re looking for the world’s most loving sidekick—one who will keep you company, ride shotgun on errands, and melt into your arms for cuddles—Grace is your girl.
By adopting this sweet senior, you're offering her a second chance—a chance to live her golden years in comfort, surrounded by the love and care she deserves.
She is ready to "Grace" your life with love. Could you be her forever?

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
