This sweet Shepherd boy has had a tough journey, but his loving nature shines through. His family in Memphis cared for him, but due to eviction and hardship, they had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender him.  They have another dog that will be much harder to place so it was decided he'd go with them if possible and we'd take this sweetheart.

Now in foster care, Junior is thriving! He adores playing outside with his foster’s resident dog and has been wonderful with their young child—just a little jumpy, but he’s a quick learner. He’s housetrained and working on crate training (still getting used to it!).

Junior Mint is almost ready to make his way North—could he be the perfect fit for your family?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
