Meet Nugget!Age: Young

Breeds: Labrador Retriever, Redbone Coonhound
Nugget is a 1-year-old Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound mix with a heart as big as his playful personality! This handsome brown pup is full of love, loyalty, and adventure, and he is so very intelligent!!
Nugget came from a rough start—rescued after being unwanted as a puppy—but he's ready to give all his love to a forever family.
Nugget is an affectionate, medium-energy dog who enjoys sunbathing, going on walks, and snuggling up on the couch after a long day. He's great with females and small dogs, though he can be somewhat selective with other males. He's also good with cats—curious when they run but respectful when interacting.
He has experience living with children (both small and teens) and loves their company! While he hasn't been around elderly individuals, his only concern would be accidentally bumping into them.
What is the Perfect Home for Nugget?
Nugget would thrive in a home with a yard to run in or an active owner who enjoys outdoor adventures. He's crate-trained, house-trained, and does well on a leash with continued guidance. He's also an excellent traveler—though he'll need to be secured so he doesn't try to be your co-pilot!
If you're looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Nugget is your guy!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
