Meet Meatball, a hunky boy with a heart as big as his size!. This sweet, lovable boy craves affection and enjoys being cuddled and showered with attention.

Rescued from the side of a Mississippi interstate, he was found alongside a female companion. Since his first day in foster care, he has been nothing but loving and friendly towards humans. He is even the best couch cuddler!

Meatball is dog friendly, currently cohabitating well with a make and female German Shepherd. He also did AMAZING when he went to the vet. He saw other dogs and just wanted to play.
The foster also has a cat. She has introduced them through a glass door and then outside. Meatball seemed more interested in making friends with the cat than the cat was with meeting him. She will continue to monitor.
It is unknown if Meatball has had interactions with children. His gentle demeanor would lead us to believe he would be fine, but right now we are saying older children only. His size alone could topple over younger kids.

Meatball is house-trained and working on improving his leash skills, as he was a bit fearful of a lead, but he is definitely doing better.

This boy does not like being confined in a crate. Right now he does fine staying in a spare room while is foster is working.

Though he is still learning what it means to be a pampered pup, he is already shown how much he loves to play and have fun. With a personality as big as his frame, This gentle giant is ready to find his forever home where he can continue to thrive and receive all the love he deserves.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need
