Update from foster!!
Milly's doing great. We've taken her to a dog park daily so she can run off her zoomies because she's probably only 1-1/2. She is completely housebroken. After a few days, we switched her food from the brand she was getting in Tennessee to Purina Pro beef. She's gobbling it up. She's absolutely the best!

Meet Milly – Your Loyal, Playful, and Loving Companion!

Milly is a sweet, affectionate pup searching for her forever home! This resilient girl was found injured as a stray, but after lots of love and care, she’s made a full recovery and is ready to start her next adventure—with you!

She’s a playful and social pup who thrives with bigger dogs and enjoys having a canine friend, though she can be a bit picky with smaller dogs.

She has been living on a farm with goats, llamas, other guardian livestock dogs and doing great - she'd love to continue that if possible.

Milly has met dog-savvy cats but has a strong chase instinct, so a cat-free home might be best.

This girl absolutely adores people! She greets new friends with happy tail wags and enthusiastic kisses, making her a wonderful companion. Since she can get excited and jump up, a home with older children (7+) would be ideal.

She’s crate-trained and housetrained and has a medium energy level—ready for playtime but also happy to relax with her humans. She can be a little nervous in new situations and finds car rides stressful, so she’ll need a patient owner to help her feel secure.

As a typical Great Pyrenees, she has an adventurous spirit and will explore beyond her yard if given the chance. A secure 6-foot fence is a must for this girl! She also loves being outside in the colder months—her fluffy coat makes her a true winter lover.

Milly is looking for a patient, loving family who will help her build confidence and give her the happy, secure life she deserves. A canine playmate would be a bonus, but her biggest wish is for a family to call her own.

We believe this dog needs a farm setting or fenced yard (6 ft) as a start. If you have extenuating circumstances but breed experience, we would definitely love to hear from you.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
