Meet Diamond, a loving and gentle soul with a heart full of potential. This sweet Beagle/Hound mix is looking for a calm, patient home where she can truly shine. Though life has thrown some challenges her way, she’s ready to find her perfect match with an experienced dog owner who can help her feel secure and loved.Age: Senior

Diamond thrives in a peaceful setting without other pets and would do best in a household with no children or with older, dog-savvy kids. Her favorite things include following her human around the house, nuzzling her nose under your hand for pets, and curling up for cozy naps. True to her hound roots, she adores long walks where she can indulge her love of sniffing and exploring.
At home, Diamond is calm and affectionate, often seeking out snuggles. She’s also a quick learner and responds well to commands like “come,” “down,” and “leave it.” With her love for treats, she’s highly food motivated, making training a fun bonding experience.
Diamond’s special needs include a diet tailored for bladder stone prevention, which she happily enjoys. She’s shown incredible progress with her incontinence medication and lets you know when she needs to go out—though she’s quiet about it, so attentive owners are ideal. She’s crate-trained for nighttime and loves her cozy den, though she’d rather not be left in the crate while you’re away.
Diamond’s journey hasn’t been easy, and she’s still working through some reactivity, especially around other dogs or when startled. She’ll thrive in a home that can provide understanding, structure, and support as she continues to heal and grow.
This beautiful girl truly is a diamond in the ruff, ready to shine brighter in the right home. If you’re patient, loving, and excited to give her the life she deserves, Diamond is ready to meet you!
