Simba is a 1 year old husky mix, ready to find his forever home! With one striking blue eye and a gentle demeanor, this handsome boy has a big heart! He’s a great mix of playful and snuggly—perfect for anyone looking for a loving, loyal companion.Age: Young
Gender: Male
Breeds: Husky, Labrador Retriever
Unknown with Cats
Simba is currently in a foster home where he’s been showing off his friendly personality. He lives with 7 other dogs ranging from 30lbs and up. He’s great with younger, playful dogs and has a lot of energy to burn. Though he can be a bit too much for older dogs at times, he’s learning boundaries and responds well when corrected.
While he’s not a fan of the crate yet, Simba is housebroken and is doing well with his leash training. He is happy to stay home alone uncrated with his other doggie friends, but we think he would need some time to adjust as the only dog being left alone. He’s definitely smart and will thrive with continued training.
This sweet boy loves being around people, especially kids! His foster family includes an 8-year-old girl, and Simba has been so gentle and loving with her. He’s also fantastic in the car—he recently laid in his young foster sister’s lap during a long drive.
Simba loves to be wherever you are and will do his best to stick close. He'd love to be your shadow!
If you’re looking for a fun, energetic, and loving companion, Simba might be your perfect match!

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
