Rory
Size: Large
Age: Young
Gender: Female
Breeds: Pit Bull Terrier, Crossbreed
Meet Rory! This girl has the most beautiful grey/green eyes and the cutest freckles on her legs and stomach. And her tail doesn’t stop wagging.Age: Young
Gender: Female
Breeds: Pit Bull Terrier, Crossbreed
Rory was found with another canine, Lorelei (also for adoption), on a stormy Memphis day. Hungry and wet, the rescue had no trouble getting them to shelter. This girl had significant skin issues that TLC and proper nutrition have lead to healing. Since being with her foster she has been separated from Lorelei for training.
Rory is an energetic girl, but is shy around people right now and will roll on her side or lie flat. Her shyness doesn’t last long if you show her that you are a trusted human and it always help if you have a treat to give her. She would love a family who wants to keep working on her shyness and command training. Her treat motivation will definitely assist with both of those things.
It appears that Rory had never been in a house or crate before being rescued. She is now learning crate and house manners.
Rory runs and plays with the other dogs in her foster home and is cat curious, but not aggressive
This girl would enjoy a family with another dog to play with or a family who wants an adventure buddy by day and cuddle buddy by night.
