Meet Cowboy - Local Foster in New England!

Cowboy is an affectionate and loyal companion who would make a fantastic addition to any home. Originally adopted as a young puppy, Cowboy has grown into a smart, loving dog with many wonderful qualities. Recently, his family reached out because Cowboy isn’t happy sharing his space with their small dog, leading to some tension. So now, we’re looking for a forever home where Cowboy can thrive as the only pet.

Here’s why Cowboy is such a catch:

Human Loving: Cowboy absolutely adores his humans. Whether watching football or just hanging out, he’s happy being by your side, soaking up all the love and attention.

Kid-Friendly: Cowboy has lived with children who adore him and is wonderful with them in return.

No Crate Needed: This well-mannered boy doesn’t need to be crated when left alone. He’s not destructive and knows how to behave in the house—no chewing on things he shouldn’t!

Smart & Well-Trained: Cowboy’s got some great manners! He’ll wait patiently for the “okay” before eating, lets you know when he needs to go out by nudging his leash, and sits politely when you pick up his leash, knowing it’s almost time for a walk.

We can’t wait to find Cowboy a home where he’ll be the star. He’s ready to settle into his forever family and deserves all the love and stability he can get!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
