Say hello to Waffles. This handsome, smiley boy is ready to find the loving forever home he deserves!
Despite his rough start, he has so much love to give!

This handsome boy's story started on the streets of Memphis, where he was found extremely malnourished. Now after being rescued and receiving required care and love, he is doing so well.

Waffles gets along with dogs of all sizes and loves spending time with his furry friends.
Because of his size and playful energy, he would do best in a home with older children who can keep up with him.
He’s still learning about cats and is curious about them, but he hasn’t shown aggression — he just needs continued guidance and proper introductions.

When his people come home, he can barely contain his excitement! He’ll greet you with all the enthusiasm in the world, but once he settles down, he reveals his other side: a laid-back couch potato who is more than happy to lounge around and enjoy your company...the best of both worlds!!

He also loves relaxing outside, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying the simple things in life.
His kennel is his safe space, where he feels comfortable eating and sleeping. He listens well and is very treat-motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience.
With patience, consistency, and a few tasty treats, he has so much potential to continue learning and growing!

Waffles has come a long way. Now he just needs a family who will give him the love, attention, and forever home he deserves.

Adoption fees cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary. The adoption fee is set at a level that enables adoption; they do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
