Meet Domino!

Domino is a handsome 4-year-old, 51-pound Husky mix who was found as a stray and is now looking for a home that understands and appreciates the Husky breed.

Domino is friendly with other dogs and currently goes outside with three canine companions. He has been good with the adults in his foster home, including seniors. His experience with cats is unknown and he has not been around kids with his new foster so its suggested they be older.

Domino is crate trained and seems to really enjoy his kennel—he even opens the door himself and happily goes inside when he comes back indoors. His house training is still being assessed. He has medium energy and has done well on the leash and during car rides.

Domino has a torn ACL and is scheduled for X-rays and surgery to repair it soon. He can be adopted before his surgery and Paws will still cover that cost at one of our partner vets. He will benefit from a home that will give him the exercise, companionship, and mental stimulation that a Husky needs.

Domino is looking for someone who truly loves Huskies and understands that they are a special breed with their own unique needs.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.  

Adoption fees cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary. The adoption fee is set at a level that enables adoption; they do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
