Meet Splasher, your future snuggle bug! Just look at that face—floppy hound ears, soft eyes, and a sweet, gentle spirit that makes him pretty hard to resist.

Splasher and his sister, Dasher, (also up for adoption) were part of a litter sadly dumped in the woods, and heartbreakingly, they were the only two who survived. Now safe in foster care, Splasher is showing everyone just what a lovable little guy he is. He may be slightly smaller than his sister, but he has plenty of personality!

Splasher does wonderfully with other dogs and considers napping, cuddling, and cozying up with his foster siblings some of his greatest talents. He has also been fostered with cats and did well with them. He should do well with children, although like many puppies, he is still working on some playful puppy mouthing and is already making good progress.

He is crate trained, keeps his crate clean, and sleeps like an absolute angel all night. His housetraining is also coming along nicely, and he did well on a short car ride with his foster. Splasher is a funny little character who sometimes likes to “talk,” showing off that adorable hound-like personality.

Puppy Adoption Fee:  $600.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)
                                      $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee applies to Massachusetts residents.

Adoption Fee Includes:
~Preadoption vaccinations, complete examinations, and microchipping.
~Spay/neuter surgery rebate, paid to the adopter once proof of surgery is provided to Paws New England. We are happy to provide a list of low-cost spay/neuter clinics upon request.

ATTENTION: 
Puppies are wonderful—but they are also a big commitment. Before applying, please make sure you're ready for the time, patience, and training they require.

>Puppies should not be crated for more than 3–4 hours at a time.
>Your home will need to be puppy-proofed.
>Expect chewing, nipping, scratching, accidents, and lots of supervision while they learn.
>If you have young children, be sure they're prepared for normal puppy behavior.
>Training, socialization, exercise, and consistency are essential.  

Unless you're an experienced dog owner and your Adoption Coordinator is comfortable with your experience, you will be required to attend puppy training and/or behavior classes. Our goal is to help you and your puppy build a happy, successful, lifelong relationship.

Important Information

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs are cared for in foster homes throughout the South and New England.

Your adoption donation helps cover veterinary care, transportation, and other expenses for your adopted dog. It also helps us continue to save senior dogs and dogs with serious medical needs or injuries. While their adoption donations are often reduced, their veterinary costs are typically much higher.
