Meet Maddie, a beautiful English Bulldog with a heart as big as her personality! This happy-go-lucky girl is guaranteed to bring laughter, smiles, and endless entertainment to the lucky family who welcomes her home.

Maddie's journey brought her back into rescue after the family who adopted her as a puppy realized that their senior dog simply couldn't keep up with her youthful enthusiasm and playful energy. Through no fault of her own, she is now thriving in a loving foster home while she patiently waits for the forever family she deserves.

Smart, eager to please, and incredibly social, Maddie has never met a stranger. She adores people of all ages, including both young and older children.
She also loves other dogs—big or small—and is always ready for a fun game with any willing canine companion. A home with another playful dog would be a dream come true for her, as she truly enjoys having a four-legged buddy to romp around with.

Maddie is doing wonderfully with her leash manners and walks nicely on either a leash or harness.
She also loves car rides and is crate trained, sleeping there at night.
She's making great progress with her house training and is nearly there. As long as she's given regular opportunities to go outside, she does very well, though she isn't quite ready to be left alone for long stretches without a potty break.

Maddie would thrive with a family familiar with the wonderful quirks of the English Bulldog breed—someone who will appreciate her playful personality, embrace her silly sense of humor, and cherish all the love she has to give.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.  

Adoption fees cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary. The adoption fee is set at a level that enables adoption; they do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
