This pint-sized potato is built more like a loaded baked potato than a marathon runner, and she’s perfectly okay with that. Her favorite hobbies include supervising the house, collecting belly rubs, perfecting the art of snuggling, and convincing you that she definitely hasn’t been fed… even if she ate five minutes ago.

LadyBug loves her people, gets along great with dogs of all sizes, and somehow has the confidence of a Great Dane packed into one delightfully chunky Chihuahua body. She’s sweet, affectionate, easygoing, and always ready to curl up next to you—preferably under a blanket.

She’s not just adorable—she’s smart, too! LadyBug knows “sit” and “down,” responds to her name, and is always happy to accept praise (or treats… especially treats).

Lady Bug arrives in New England on 6/27 and is scheduled for bilateral patella surgery on 7/6. Her Fosrer will get her on the way being recovered and she will be ready to head to her forever home.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
