Nick is an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy lives for attention and thinks kisses are one of life’s greatest gifts. He is proof that love doesn’t always come with a perfect beginning; but it can lead to a beautiful future.

This handsome boy who was given a second chance after finding himself on the euthanasia list at a Tennessee shelter. Now safe and waiting in boarding, he's hoping his next stop will be a loving forever home.

Since Nick wasn’t given the fair start every dog deserves, he can be a little behind socially and developmentally. He’s still figuring out how to “dog.” The good news? He truly wants to learn.

Did we mention treats? Nick is incredibly food motivated, making training both rewarding and enjoyable. He thrives on gentle encouragement and would do best with someone who celebrates the little victories, because each one is a huge milestone for him.

Nick would do best in a home with older children who can respect his space and participate in his ongoing training and routine.

Nick has never shown aggression toward dogs. In fact, he seems friendly with them. He does, however, need a structured environment with confident guidance, as he doesn't recognize when another dog needs more personal space. With continued supervision, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement, Nick will continue developing his social skills.

He walks well on a leash and is a decent traveler, making him an easy companion for daily adventures or trips around town.

Nick doesn’t need someone expecting perfection; he needs someone patient and kind that is willing to show him what love, security, and a normal dog’s life look like.

In return, you will gain a friendly, eager companion who is ready to settle into a loving home where he can continue to learn, thrive, and be part of the family. And he’ll reward you with endless affection, grateful eyes, and enough kisses to last a lifetime!!

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
