Some dogs just have a face you can't say no to, and Jack Jack is one of them.
This handsome boy arrived at Memphis Animal Services as a stray in April. One look at that adorable face was all it took for us to know he deserved a ticket out, and before long, Jack Jack was safely on his way to rescue.
Since then, he's been staying in boarding in Mississippi, where he has become a staff favorite. His foster describes him as simply "wonderful," and everyone who meets him seems to agree. Jack Jack participates in playgroups with lots of other dogs and has done beautifully. He enjoys canine companionship and has shown himself to be friendly, social, and easygoing with dogs of all sizes.
Jack Jack is equally charming with people. He loves attention and has been wonderful with everyone he's met. While he hasn't been tested with toddlers, he has done great with older children and adults and is always happy to soak up affection.
His foster believes he is fully housetrained, and he is also crate trained. In other words, he's already mastered some of the most important skills adopters are looking for.
Now, we do need to confess one thing: boarding life has been a little too comfortable, and Jack Jack has put on a pound or two. He's currently working on his summer fitness plan, and we're confident that once he's enjoying walks, adventures, and playtime in New England, he'll be back to his ideal figure in no time.
Jack Jack will arrive in Connecticut on June 13 and move into a foster home with several resident dogs of different sizes. We expect him to fit right in.
If you're interested in this sweet, social, incredibly handsome boy, don't wait too long. Dogs with faces like his and personalities to match rarely stay available for very long.
Jack Jack is ready to leave his stray-dog days behind and start the life he's always deserved. Could that life be with you?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South & New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
