Phantom’s story began with a heartbreaking turn when he was abandoned at a veterinary hospital, tied to a post in the early morning hours. Despite that rough start — and arriving with a fungal infection on his snout that is being addressed — Phantom has shown resilience and love. He’s eager to connect, as if he’s always believed a better life was waiting just around the corner.
Currently in boarding, Phantom enjoys multiple daily potty breaks and walks, and he’s proving to be a social, easygoing young pup. He has loose, friendly interactions with other dogs and enjoys exploring his surroundings at his own pace, taking in the world with quiet curiosity.
What Phantom truly needs now is a calm, patient home filled with kindness — a place where he can continue learning basic house manners and potty training with encouragement and consistency.
He would thrive with a family committed to positive reinforcement, gentle guidance, and helping him grow into the confident companion he’s meant to be.
If you’re looking for a loving, dog-friendly pup and don’t mind a little puppy training along the way, Phantom may be the perfect addition to your home — ready to trade his past for a future full of warmth, security, and love.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
