Blossom’s journey to safety hasn’t been an easy one — she came into Paws New England after suffering a serious injury that nearly cost her a hind leg. Thanks to the incredible care of Dr. Parker in Memphis, Blossom is healing beautifully and making steady progress every day. We’re still taking her recovery slow and steady, but she’s improving daily and showing just how resilient she truly is.

Blossom is an absolute stunner — we believe she may be a Pyr/Husky mix (one baby photo hints at it!), and her striking looks are matched by the sweetest soul. Her foster mom adores her and describes her as incredibly gentle, loving, and affectionate.

True to her “Pyr” roots, Blossom lives for the outdoors. She would happily spend her days lounging in the yard, soaking up fresh air, and watching the world go by. Because of this, a securely fenced yard (at least 6 feet) is a non-negotiable requirement for her future home. Of course, that doesn’t replace daily walks, enrichment, and adventures — Blossom will also benefit from leash walks and exploring beyond the backyard as she continues to regain strength.

Blossom still has a bit of healing ahead but should be ready to head north to New England by mid- to late March, where she hopes to find the loving forever family she so richly deserves.

Her beauty may catch your eye — but it’s her calm, charming, and devoted personality that will truly steal your heart. Blossom is ready to blossom in a home of her own. Could that be yours?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
