Meet sweet Memphis….truly healthy, happy, and thriving — proof of just how strong his spirit truly is. He is the kind of dog that reminds you why rescue matters.

When this handsome boy was found in Louisiana, he was just about 8 months old and had already been through more than any dog ever should. He was painfully skinny, exhausted, and trying to survive without one of his back paws. Despite everything stacked against him, he never gave up. Thanks to rescue, love, and proper care, he has made an incredible recovery.

His missing paw doesn’t slow him down one bit (as you can see in his attached video); it’s simply part of what makes him who he is. He absolutely loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and ignores any cats. This precious boy is always ready to share affection and joy.
He’s playful, gentle, and so grateful for every bit of love he receives.

Memphis is ready for the one thing he’s always deserved: a forever home. A home where he’ll never be abandoned, never go hungry, and never be overlooked again.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold and a story of resilience, he is waiting for you.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
