Maggie

Meet Maggie, an absolutely precious puppy whose story began on a very cold night when she and her siblings were found being sold on the side of the road. For their safety, they were brought into rescue, where they could finally warm up, settle in, and start the happy puppy life they deserve. Age: Baby
Gender: Female
Breeds: Pit Bull Terrier, Crossbreed
Their mama was said to be a pit bull mix, and while their daddy is a mystery, one thing is certain—these pups are going to grow into big, lovable dogs, complete with those oversized puppy feet that hint at their future.
Now safe in foster care, Maggie and her siblings are thriving.
They are all the wonderful things puppies should be: sweet, affectionate, playful, and endlessly cuddly.
Snuggle time is a favorite for them, and they soak up love whenever it’s offered.
They are doing well with children, other dogs, and even cats, making them wonderful candidates for many different types of homes.
Their foster family is working with them on both house training and crate training, and they are learning through consistency and care.
With patience and guidance, these smart, gentle pups will continue to blossom.
Maggie is ready to leave her tough start behind and grow up in a home filled with warmth, love, and security—exactly what every puppy deserves.

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.
PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?
IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
