Meet Audrey, the soft-hearted southern sweetheart who’s been waiting for her chance to shine.

This beautiful girl arrived at a Mississippi shelter as a stray, unsure of the world and overwhelmed by all the new sights and sounds. But beneath that shy exterior is a loving, loyal companion just waiting for someone patient and kind to help her blossom.

Once Audrey feels safe, she becomes the sweetest little shadow—your very own Velcro pup who follows you with quiet devotion. She may take a bit of time to warm up, but the bond she forms is deep, tender, and truly special.

Audrey is dog-selective and still navigating her confidence in this big, busy world, so she’ll need a family willing to go slow and give her the gentle encouragement she deserves.
What she absolutely does love is stretching her legs and running free—so a home with a spacious yard where she can romp, play, and feel the sun on her back would make her happiest.

If you’re searching for a loyal companion with a soft spirit and a heart full of love, Audrey is ready to take that step with you. All she needs is someone willing to give her a chance—and she’ll give you her whole heart in return.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
