Violet is a spunky 1-year-old Malinois/Shepherd mix currently living in New Hampshire. Her litter was sadly dumped on the streets shortly after being born in mid-September, and she came into care on December 21, 2024. Now a healthy, happy 44-pound girl, Violet has recently been spayed (October 27, 2025) and is up to date on her 3-year rabies vaccine.
Violet loves to play, whether on her own or with other dogs, and would likely thrive in a home with male dogs only. She may do best in a home without small children, as she doesn’t have experience with them yet. She has some basic training but will need a patient adopter to continue teaching her.
This sweet girl is also a big snuggler and enjoys spending time outside whenever she can.
She's a great traveler in cars so would be an amazing partner if you like to go to go to fun places to hike!
The Malinois breeds are not for everyone - even mix breeds

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
