Meet Dandelion – “Dandy” for short!
This sweet Shepherd mix has a heart as bright as her name. Dandy’s story started out a little rough — she was sadly abandoned in an apartment back in February. Thankfully, she’s been safe with the local Animal Control Officer until Paws welcomed her into the rescue family. Now, she’s ready to find her forever home!

Dandy is a true people-lover and is happiest when she’s making new friends — both human and canine. She enjoys playtime with other dogs and has an easygoing, affectionate personality that shines through wherever she goes.

This brindle beauty is both crate trained and house trained, and she’s proven to be trustworthy free-roaming in the house without being destructive.

Like many Shepherd mixes, she’s a smart and eager learner. With a little guidance in basic obedience, she’s sure to shine and reach her full potential in a loving home.

If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who’s overcome a tough beginning and is ready for a beautiful new chapter of life, Dandy might just be the perfect match.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
