Meet Gatsby!

Gatsby is a young, medium-sized pup with a heart full of love and plenty of playful puppy energy. He enjoys romping around with other dogs and can play all day, though sometimes his enthusiasm can be a bit much for calmer pups. He ignores the resident cat (who is dog-savvy), making him a great fit for multi-pet households.

This sweet boy absolutely adores people and soaks up every bit of attention and cuddle time he can get. Gatsby is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and travels well in a crate. He’s still working on his house training and leash manners, so he’ll need a family willing to continue his training with patience and consistency.

Gatsby came from a tough start—he was found with a wire tied around his neck and his coat badly matted—but you’d never know it from his happy-go-lucky personality. He’s resilient, affectionate, and ready for a fresh start.

An active family or adopter who enjoys playtime and has the time to guide him through his puppy stage would be ideal. In return, Gatsby will bring endless joy, loyalty, and fun to his forever home.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
