Oh, Henry… How could something so small pack so much personality into just 15 pounds?

Henry may be the tiniest of his littermates, but don’t let his size fool you—this little guy is full of confidence! He’s playful, spunky, and has a very important “job” at his foster home: collecting every toy and bone and stashing them in his kennel. (We lovingly call him Henry the Hoarder.)

When he’s not busy managing his treasure pile, Henry is soaking up attention. He’s quickly learned how much he loves ear rubs and chest scratches, and he’ll happily melt into you for more.

Sadly, Henry and his littermates were discarded at what we first thought was a very young age. We assumed they were just four-month-old pups—but the vet surprised us by aging them closer to nine months old. This has meant a little extra work, because they’re not the tiny, anything-goes, brand-new learners we thought. Instead, they’ve needed patience, guidance, and reassurance. They can be timid when meeting new people or dogs, but on individual playdates, their true selves shine through—they show such a loving curiosity toward other pups.

This pint-sized sweetheart is proof that the best things really do come in small packages—and now he’s ready to find his forever family!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
