Pickles is a happy, playful pup with a big personality and a heart full of love. Age: Young
Gender: Female
Breeds: Hound, Crossbreed
She came from an overcrowded situation where two mama dogs had large litters both at once. Despite her rough start, Pickles has blossomed into a smart, affectionate, and lively young dog who’s ready to find her forever family.
This girl loves other dogs and wants to play with every pup she meets—whether it’s a tiny puppy or a new friend at the park. She’s curious about cats and does best with kitties who can tolerate her enthusiasm. Pickles is also wonderful with dog-savvy kids; she plays fetch with her foster’s 5-year-old and snuggles with her, but is too active for children under 5.
Pickles has excellent manners on a leash, is crate-trained, and is housebroken.. She travels well, learns new commands quickly, and settles nicely once she’s had a good play session. Inside, she enjoys playing with toys, especially squeaky ones. She will even throw toys to herself!!
This girl loves cuddling on the couch, or relaxing in her crate. She can be a little mischievous—counter surfing is her favorite hobby—but she responds well to redirection and is eager to please.
Pickles’ ideal home will have room for her to run and play, and a family ready for an energetic, nosey, happy pup. Another playful dog or children over 5 would be a bonus! Chickens, however, should probably steer clear of this curious girl.
With her shining coat, sparkling personality, and quick mind, Pickles is sure to make a fantastic companion for an active, dog-savvy family.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
